Blackhawk half-track system installed on a 1948 Ford 8N. Manufactured by the Arps Corporation in Wisconsin, they take a couple of hours to install, and deliver more traction on snow than tires on bare ground. Unlike the Bombardier version that used rubber belts, the tracks consist of metal plates linked together and add so little drag the tractor can be bump started. Great for logging and lots of fun!
