Lighthouse Tender, CGS Dollard

Charles Maginley, The ships of Canada's Marine Services, Vanwell Publishing 2003

Another early vessel from Kingston Shipbuilding. This one was launched in the spring of 1913, built for the government of Canada as a buoy and lighthouse tender for use in the Bay of Fundy. The Dollard, apart from a season at Parry Sound in 1918, gave good service at the Bay of Fundy station until the vessel was sold in 1961.
