Steam-boat North King, Cobourg Harbour, 1907

Percy L. Climo.  Cobourg 1914-1919.  A Magnificent Sacrifice.  Percy L. Climo, 1986.
Originally called the Norseman, this paddle wheel steamer was built at Montreal in 1868.   In 1891 it was rebuilt at Kingston, Ontario and renamed the North King.  With its sister ship Caspian, it plied the waters between Rochester, New York, the Thousand Islands and other Canadian ports.  It was scrapped in 1922.
